Kit Berry - Technician Supervisor/Office Manager

Kit is the longest standing employee at Pearland Pet Health Center. Kit worked along side Dr. May at his previous clinic and has been the backbone of this clinic since opening in March 2005. Her loyalty and dedication has enhanced the quality of care for each patient that enters our doors. In her spare time, Kit enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Logan and Jordan. She also has her hands full caring for her English Mastiff, Bruno. Kit's love for her job is definitely noticed by both clients and staff.


Jennifer Monteith

Jennifer began working at Pearland Pet Health Center in May 2011. She grew up in Alvin and graduated in 2009 with a general associates degree and diagnostic cardiovascular sonography degree in echocardiography. Jennifer is married and has two amazing children. She is also the mother of 3 dogs, 10 cats, a green iguana and a Chinese water Dragon. Her favorite past times are water skiing and camping.


Marissa Florido

Marissa began her employment at PPHC in June 2012. She has definitely been one of our best hires. She is loyal, trustworthy, and loves helping and working with animals. This has been her one and only job, and luckily according to her it is her dream job! Marissa grew up in Pearland and graduated from Dawson High School in 2013. She started with us as a kennel technician, then became a technician about a year later. As well as working full time as a veterinary technician, she is the kennel technician supervisor, and also helps with other office assistant duties, always being a great help to Kit. In her spare time she loves to hang out with her two fur children, Hurley and Oreo. Her life long dream is to one day have enough land to have all of the farm animals her heart desires!


Shelby Frierson

Shelby's love for animals brought her to PPHC in 2017. Shelby has been working in the vet field for about 3 years prior to joining PPHC. She grew up in Pearland and graduated from Pearland High School in 2008, she is currently attending West Texas A&M University. In Shelby's spare time you can find her spending time with her husband Clyde, and her two sons, Calvin and Keith. She has 2 dogs Duke, Shiner (Both Lab mix's). Shelby also likes to be outdoors, fishing, crafting, and watching sports.


Morgan Booth

Morgan joined the team as a veterinary technician in late 2017 after moving with her family from California. Seeking to further her career as a credentialed tech, she is currently attending Vet Tech Institute of Houston, specializing in exotic animal care. She loves exotics, especially reptiles of all kinds, and currently has four geckos, as well as actively rescues and rehabilitates sick or neglected geckos through her rescue, Gimpy Geckos Rescue. She lives in Pearland with her parents, twin brother Noah, two dogs: Coal and Lilly, three cats: Peggy, Kenai, and Smokey, and the geckos: Tonks, Azula, Treecko, and QT.


Elizabet Garza

Elizabet starting working with us a volunteer in the summer of 2018. We quickly recognized her value as a team member and hired her as a kennel assistant shortly after. She had aspirations of becoming a technician so we are currently training her for that. She has recently graduated from Alvin Community College from the Veterinary Assistant Program and just received her level 1 CVA. She loves soccer and playing with her pets, and currently lives at home with her parents and her dogs Goldie and Odess. She has a goal to one be a veterinarian.


Jaclyn Norman

Jackie started with Pearland Pet Health Center in July 2016. She has been an asset and valuable team member since joining the team. She first worked as a receptionist, then moved up to reception supervisor. She is currently working as a technician, pursuing her dream to work closer with the animals and their direct care. Jackie has 2 boys, Cayden and Cameron, as well as 2 cats Bonnie and Clyde, and a French Mastiff named Harley.
