Kit Berry

Technician Supervisor/Office Manager

Kit is the longest standing employee at Pearland Pet Health Center. Kit worked along side Dr. May at his previous clinic and has been the backbone of this clinic since opening in March 2005. Her loyalty and dedication has enhanced the quality of care for each patient that enters our doors. In her spare time, Kit enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Logan and Jordan. She also has her hands full caring for her English Mastiff, Bruno. Kit's love for her job is definitely noticed by both clients and staff.


Jennifer Monteith

Jennifer began working at Pearland Pet Health Center in May 2011. She grew up in Alvin and graduated in 2009 with a general associates degree and diagnostic cardiovascular sonography degree in echocardiography. Jennifer is married and has two amazing children. She is also the mother of 3 dogs, 10 cats, a green iguana and a Chinese water Dragon. Her favorite past times are water skiing and camping.


Marissa Florido

Marissa began her employment at PPHC in June 2012. PPHC has been her one and only job. Marissa grew up in Pearland and attended Dawson High School. She has two dogs, Hurley, a medium mixed breed rescue, and Oreo, a shih tzu. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys going out with friends, having a good time and spending time with her fiance. She has a simple motto: " I want to be the best me that I can be".


Lesly Simons

Lesly applied for an internship in January 2016, and was immediately hired on as a veterinary assistant. She has always loved working with animals, especially grooming them. Lesly completed two vet tech assisting courses while in school. She has a variety of four legged children consisting of Byron (German Shepherd/Lab mix) Lily (Husky) Lady (Spaniel/Basset mix) and 3 cats Tigger, Tulip, and Sam. She is a lover of exotic animals. of which her favorite companion animal was her rat, Bazil. Her amazing way with animals has helped her get close to and tame "untouchable" animals that come in. When she is not working she enjoys teaching her dogs to pull scooters, fostering dogs through K9 Kare, you can also find her binge watching on Netflix with her dogs. Her dreams are to one day become a wildlife veterinarian and founder of her own clinic and animal rescue facility.


Sairy Gardea

Sairy joined PPHC in 2017 as a veterinary assistant. She is currently attending Chavez high school in Pasadena, will graduate class of '18. She has 2 dogs (German Shepard, Chihuahua) and also has 2 horses. In her spare time you can find Sairy horse back riding, playing volleyball, or out with her friends and family. Sairy wants to one day have a successful career and have a family of her own.


Shelby Frierson

Shelby's love for animals brought her to PPHC in 2017. Shelby has been working in the vet field for about 3 years prior to joining PPHC. She grew up in Pearland and graduated from Pearland Highschool in '08, she is currently attending West Texas A&M University. In Shelby's spare time you can find her spending time with her husband Clyde, and her son Calvin. She has 2 dogs Duke, Shiner (Both Lab mix's). Shelby also likes to be outdoors, fishing, crafting, and watching sports.


Brandon Smith

Brandon joined PPHC as a Technician assistant in 2017. Brandon grew up in Alvin, TX where he currently still resides. Brandon has 2 dogs, Little Angel (Boxer) and Archangel Gabriel (Blue American Stafford Shire Terrier). Brandon likes collecting books, as well as trading cards. In Brandon's spare time he likes reading, playing cards, playing board games, spending time with his family and dogs, he also likes watching anime and reading mania. Brandon has a large family, whom he is very close with: he has his mom, step dad, his dad and step mom, and 3 brothers and a sister.


Morgan Booth

Morgan is a technician that joined our team late in 2017 after she and her family moved here from California. Born and raised in California, she was excited to move to Texas as she is planning to attend Texas A&M in the near future. She has big plans to become an exotics vet. She especially loves reptiles and currently has 2 geckos- an African fat-tailed gecko named Tonks and a leopard gecko named Azula. Morgan currently lives in Pearland with her parents, her twin brother, her geckos, two cats Peggy and Kenai, and their lab Coal.
